General-purpose resin for lay-up, spray and winding
POLYMAL 8201 PT is thixotropic (anti-sag) and pre-accelerated, so only MEKP catalyst is needed. The resin offers good heat, chemical and water resistance and bonds well to glass fiber, giving high-strength FRP parts.

How to use
- Pre-accelerated: just add MEKP catalyst. Typical dosage: 1.0% MEKP (Butanox M-50).
- Adjust gel time by changing the MEKP level.
- Measure accurately and mix thoroughly before use.
- Non-waxed: add a wax solution if the final surface layer must cure tack-free.
- Styrene monomer can be added to reduce viscosity after long storage.
- Best results are achieved when fully cured at room temperature for sufficient time.
Storage
Store in closed containers in a cool, dry, dark place below 25°C. Keep away from heat sources such as direct sunlight and steam pipes. Typical storage stability: 3 months.
