Product Overview
Built for practical production needs
Infusion mesh helps accelerate and direct resin flow during infusion. Mesh placement, resin feed and vacuum-line layout should be designed around part size and laminate permeability.
Key points
- Supports resin distribution
- For vacuum infusion
- Can be cut to part geometry
- Directly affects the flow front
- Should be designed with feed/vacuum layout
- Process setup support
Layout
- Lay the mesh over the peel ply, never directly on the laminate.
- Stop the mesh short of the vacuum line so resin does not race to the outlet before the laminate is filled.
- Thick laminates or cored parts may need extra flow paths on the lower side or grooves in the core.
Position in the stack
Typical stack from the mold surface: laminate, peel ply, release film or infusion mesh, breather, then vacuum bagging film sealed with sealant tape.
Technical note
Specifications and use procedures should be checked against the current TDS/SDS and validated under actual production conditions before full implementation.
