Short carbon reinforcement for controlled dispersion
Chopped Carbon Fiber 12K – 15 mm is supplied for applications requiring discrete carbon reinforcement. Final performance depends on matrix compatibility, fiber dispersion, orientation, fiber loading and the selected manufacturing process.

How to use
- Disperse the fiber into the matrix (resin, compound or other material) following a tested mixing sequence; add fiber gradually to avoid clumping.
- Mix only as long as needed for dispersion; long high-shear mixing breaks fibers and reduces effective length.
- Check dispersion and viscosity after adding fiber; adjust fiber content to the target properties and processability.
Safety
Carbon fiber is electrically conductive: keep fiber dust away from electrical equipment. Wear a mask, goggles and gloves when handling.
