Toughened bonding epoxy
G/flex 650 is a toughened, two-part liquid epoxy with a honey-like consistency and a 1:1 mix ratio by volume. The cured epoxy has high elongation, so it absorbs vibration, impact and thermal movement better than standard epoxies. G/flex 650 bonds to metals, plastics, glass, masonry, fiberglass and difficult-to-glue woods, and is widely used to repair aluminum boats and polyethylene or ABS canoes and kayaks.
- 1:1 mix ratio by volume for easy measuring.
- Toughened and resilient: about 33% tensile elongation, absorbs vibration and impact.
- Bonds metals, plastics, glass, masonry, fiberglass and difficult woods.
- 45-minute pot life, 75-minute thin-film working time.
- Apply at 5°C or above.
- Mixed viscosity 15,000 mPa·s at 25°C; tensile strength 23.7 MPa; Shore D 75.
