Fire-retardant epoxy flowcoat
TECHNIREZ R1301 is a solvent-free, fire-retardant epoxy flowcoat that cures at room temperature with H1301 hardener. It forms a tough, flexible film with strong chemical resistance and adhesion to a wide range of composite substrates. R1301 is engineered to meet AS/NZS 1530.3:1999 and is used on FRP panels, moldings and structural components for building, architectural, mass transit, marine and industrial applications. It can also be used as a gelcoat.
- Fire-retardant, solvent-free epoxy flowcoat, white and tintable.
- Non-sag and self-levelling; single-coat application, suitable for vertical and overhead surfaces.
- Tough, flexible film with good chemical resistance and adhesion to composites.
- Apply with a short-bristle fibreglass brush.
- Use as a surface coat or gelcoat on parts with fire requirements.
- Thin-film open time 3.5 hours; maximum strength after 3 days.
