Fire-retardant SMC for compression-moulded electrical parts
POLYSHEET F720-GY is a flexible soft sheet designed for fire retardancy, mould flow and arc resistance in electrical applications.

Molding guidance
- Weigh the charge for the part, then cut and stack it in the calculated position so flow fills the cavity evenly.
- Gel time is 80–120 seconds under the TDS test conditions: set mold temperature, pressure and closing speed so the compound fills before gel.
- Remove the carrier films just before loading and avoid leaving sheets exposed to air.
Suitable applications
F720-GY is rated UL94 V-0 with water absorption below 0.1% and HDT above 200°C, suited to electrical enclosures, junction boxes, insulating panels and components needing flame and arc resistance.
Storage
Keep SMC sheets sealed in their packaging in a cool place away from sunlight and use within the manufacturer's recommended period. Sheets stored too long or too warm can stiffen and lose flow.
