Match the part geometry
Grooved and paddle rollers help consolidate broad areas. Corner rollers, small diameters and narrow widths are more suitable for radii, ribs and restricted zones.
Match the reinforcement
CSM normally needs sufficient working pressure for wet-out and air removal. Woven roving and engineered fabrics need controlled pressure to avoid distorting fiber direction or shifting fabric edges.
Technique and cleaning
Roll from the wetted area toward the unfinished area without creating new air pockets. Clean tools using a safe, compatible procedure before the resin cures.
