Fast-wetting laminating resin for tanks and FRP parts
POLYSTAR R8236PT is designed for reinforced-plastic production by spray-up and hand lay-up, including bathtubs, purification tanks and water tanks.

How to use
- The resin is prepromoted; only MEKPO needs to be added. At 25°C with 1.0 phr MEKPO 55%, gel time is 25–35 minutes.
- The gel time is longer than many common hand lay-up resins, which helps on large parts such as bathtubs and water tanks.
- Roll out each layer thoroughly to remove air.
Choosing the right grade
R8236PT and R8336PT are both unwaxed resins for hand lay-up and spray-up. R8236PT has a longer gel time (25–35 minutes); R8336PT gels faster (22–27 minutes) and has a higher HDT (70–80°C vs 60–70°C).
Storage
Store in a cool place away from sunlight and heat sources; keep containers closed after opening.
